Redirect after Registration

  • I had this set so that users would be redirected to a certain page after registration but after I updated, this redirect is gone and I can’t figure out where to put this back in. Also the registration form page is ultra wide even though it’s set to only 450px max width.

    Found it in user roles. I had changed the default user name which changed the settings.

    I have a similar issue. Login fir 3 roles, goes to the right profile. For the fourth role takes me to some other form I don’t recognize.

    Can you explain this a bit more? It might be the same issue I am running into…mentioned earlier.

    In the Ultimate Member area, select User Roles on the left side. Select the user role you’re having problems with. From there you can customize any redirects.

    Ah, yes. That I’ve done. Have it set to profile but it keeps going to some odd form. All others work, just this one new role I added. I tested with an existing role and it redirects to this profile form so doesn’t seem to be that. Everything else seems to work fine…just goes to a page that has links to account and logout.

    So this is the redirect after login?
    Trying changing it to instead of profile, a custom URL. Then put the basic user URL for the correct profile page.

    I’ll give that a shot. I have other roles set to redirect to profile…no issues. Not sure why this new role is problematic. I can redirect an older role to this new profile, so that is not the issue.

    If you have any other thoughts or see something similar let me know. The URL redirect didn’t help. I keep getting this in the URL box:

    https://www.myresapp.com/login/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.myresapp.com%2Fuser%2Fpaulemp%2F

    and a form that has Login, a place where the user image would go with their name (PaulEmp) and two links:

    ?Your account
    ?Logout

    It’s all very strange!

    Yes, already checked the caching. Right, if you login as a student it goes to the student profile page. If I log in as a Employer it goes to the odd login page…it should go to the Employer profile page.

    Tried from various machines, same results.

    If you try login:
    PaulStu pswd:Xenon8004
    then try the login with:
    PaulEmp, Xenon8004

    you will see what I mean.

    That weird. the /user/ url is redirecting to the odd link. There is a redirect somewhere you’re missing for that role. If all else fails. Add a new role and try again. If the role now is Employer, create a new one called Employers.

    Yes, I tried to add a new role, new profile, etc. Different combinations. Same results. Looks like any new role added has this issue.

    As I mentioned, roles that were there originally have no problems but anything new, no luck.

    It is weird and frustrating.

    I had problems with any role created by UM too. Just broke a lot. Install Role Editor and add a role that way. You will have to configure the permissions for this role in Users>role editor AND UM>users
