• Hello there. I am using your plugin for users to register on the website: arabianhorsefestival.com. I have 2 issues. After registration, the user is not redirected to his profile, but instead, the registration page just refreshes and displays no information whether the registration was successful or not. The second issue is that I am not receiving any email about creating a new user nor the account verification email. So if I wanted for the users to verify their accounts I can’t because they don’t get the email. All other emails are sent correctly (to the admin and to the user as well – when I delete an account for example, the user get’s the email right away).

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Hi @schnicel,

    Have you enabled
Do you have any caching plugins installed server-side caching active e.g Memcached, Varnish cache or CloudFlare etc? Please try excluding Ultimate member pages from the cache and see if it helps. This issue can be also caused by some conflicts with your theme or other plugins, please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

@schnicel, I’m having the exact same issue. A new user can register, but does not receive any email confirmations except for the Account Deleted email. This was working after I first installed UM a couple days ago, but then stopped working. I tried the conflict test and after a long process, it was unsuccessful.
    Did you find a solution?
    Thanks!

    Hi @cifili,

Please check that you have correct email settings in Ultimate member -> settings -> Emails section. Make sure that “Account Activation Email” is active and your default user role require account activation, you can check this in Ultimate member -> User roles -> your user role and “Registration Status – Require email activation”

    Regards.

Thank you! I will try all these suggestions again.

Hi, so I chcecked and there is a problem with W3 total cache. When I disable the plugin, everything works just normal. Emails are delivered correctly, and the user is redirected to the correct page after creating an account.

Any advice on how to set up W3 total cache in order to work correctly with the plugin?

    THanks a lot.

schnicel – try excluding the UM pages from W3T. There are lots of comments about excluding UM pages within the Page Cache section, but I also found another section in the Database Cache area. This took me a long time to figure out, I hope it works for you.

Performance>Page Cache>Never Cache the Following Pages>[insert extension for UM pages]
Performance>Database Cache>Never Cache the Following Pages>[insert extension for UM pages]

    good luck

Thanks, this is really helpful. But if I may ask, what exactly should I enter into the exclusion area? This: “[insert extension for UM pages]” is the exact shortcode, that I should enter, or is it just a representation, that I should enter various pages linked with the plugin?

    Thanks.

no, it depends on what you named the pages. use everything after the main website url. check this:

Thanks. It worked but only od the redirects. The email still won’t send. Only when the cache plugin is deactivated.
