Redirect after switching accounts

    Hi there,
    I have not been able to duplicate this issue myself, but my team is reporting the following:
    We have it setup to redirect to the homepage if a user does not have access to pages. However, users WITH access are being redirected to the homepage, when they should be directed to the private pages. Usually this issue is resolved by clearing browser cache. What could be causing this?

    They also think this may be happening after logging in and out of either the same account or several accounts.

    Update: This problem is still occurring. I have not switched between accounts, but for the first time my admin account experienced this redirect issue. When I view incognito or disable caching in dev tools — the problem goes away. How can I fix the caching conflicts with this plugin?

    What caching plugin are you using, and have you set it up so it caches pages for logged-in users?
    Do you have any other membership/access control plugins installed? Restrict User Access does not interfere with the access of administrators by design, so the fact that your admin account is being redirected could be caused by something else.

    I am using WP Optimize for caching. It is currently set to NOT serve cached pages to logged in users. Should I change this setting?

    We do not have any other membership/access control plugins installed.
