Redirect archive and single psot to home page

I would like to redirect all posts beginning with “mittagsmenue” to the home page.
Right now I have this: ^/.*mittagsmenue

But when I have https://www.domain.com/mittagsmenue-15-6-18/ it redirects to https://www.domain.com-15-6-18

What am I missing?

That regular expression does not match – the .* needs to be at the end. You can use https://regex101.com/ to test regular expressions
