Redirect chain from http-non www to https-www

To redirect:

https://example.com;
https://www.example.com

To this : https://www.example.com/

Use the following:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^ https://www.example.com%{REQUEST_URI} [NC,L,R=301,NE]

@soberbanda thanks for you early reply. I try what you tell me but nothing change. It seems like something has more priority than the .htaccess file and the redirect chain is caused by another mecanism

@manulop If you are on a cPanel, use their redirect tool. It maybe taking precedence here. Also, try reviewing: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41883315/why-is-this-htaccess-redirect-not-working
