Redirect disappears

    Hi there,

    I have created a redirect but it keeps disappearing.

    So I have redirected URL1 to URL2. Every time I access URL1, the redirect disappears.

    If I delete the cache, the redirect is back. Then if I access URL1 again, it disappears again!

    Could you please advise.

    I had the terrible idea to use this APP called IFTTT to automate social share. And now as you can see on the link I have shared above, the RSS started creating new link with string PARAM causing duplicate content. So I’m trying to redirect the Link above (with PARAM) to the original link.

    A Redirection redirect does not disappear – it either exists or it doesn’t.

    Your site is cached with Cloudflare and that may cause problems. This is unrelated to Redirection and you will need to investigate that further.

    Thank you for you reply and help. Yes I agree it is definitely related to caching. But any idea how I can sort this?

    You will need to contact whoever provides the caching software and see what can be done there
