  • Hi Karsten. Sorry to hear you’re having problems. Most of the “fixes” I found were related to clearing cookies, which you’ve already tried. Then I ran across this article that discusses permalinks and file permissions. Hope that helps.

    Hi bdbrown,
thank you for your quick help.

The suggestion of changing the permalink structure is a good idea but didn’t help.

But it seems that all the links are working again. What I did was changing the theme to a standdard theme and deactivating all plugins. And then all the way back to activating hueman and my plugins. And then the links were working again.

Thanks a lot for your advise. I wish you a nice weekeind.

Ok, I have now deactivated the WordPress SEO plugin and the two links are working again.

I will continue to set up some more child menu and then I want to see if there is again an conflict between WordPress SEO and my links.

    I keep you updated here.

    Thanks for the update.

I have now deleted the two pages with corupted links and then I created this pages completely new. And now the links are working and I am happy.

I don’t know what the conflict was between WordPress SEO and this two links.

Anyway, what I want to make clear here is that WordPress SEO is an absolutely great plugin!

I am using currently the free version, but I think I will invest 100 Euro and buy the premium version so that I can get premium support from Yoast.

    Thanks to bdbrown.

You’re welcome; glad to help out. Good luck!

Just on last update: I had the same problem today when I was creating a new grandchild page of my child menu.

So, it seems, that it just happens…not often, but sometimes.

In this case I delete the corrupted page and create a new page and then it works.
