So after I choose “A few pages” I have the option to enter pages but it will not let you leave them blank (meaning home page). If I use the original page url it doesn’t work either? This plugin works very well with every other page but how do I force the https redirect on the home page? Any help is appreciated.

Hi, are you trying to secure your whole site or just a few pages?

    Just a few pages.

My question is, what is a person supposed to do if they only want to secure a few pages on their site – and also want the home page included in those few pages.

Hi, are you also enabling the following option?

Force resources to use HTTPS URL

No, I am not using force resources.

With all due respect, I don’t understand how that is relevant or why there is no simple answer here. If person A wants to secure “just a few pages” of their site INCLUDING the home page – and person B wants to secure “just a few pages” but NOT their home page…

Where is the setting that is different for person A and person B?

Sorry for my questions, I am just trying to workout if it is your current website configuration set up that might be causing this issue or if it is the plugin.

I have submitted a request to the plugin developers to investigate further your issue.

    Kind regards

Homepage is a little tricky because when you do it on the homepage, it will apply to all the pages of that domain (which has the same effect as do HTTPS everywhere).

If you want to be specific then it has to be a specific page (you can’t do the homepage and then some other page). The .htacess rule work a little different for that.
