Redirect homepage to new site

We are trying to redirect a domain/website that we acquired to our own website. We have multiple redirects set up with the Redirection plugin to handle the redirection of specific blog posts, certain pages, etc. However, we now want to redirect the REMAINING pages (e.g., via a wildcard) including the old homepage. We want to redirect everything else (other than the redirects we already set up) to our new homepage domain.

But it doesn’t seem to be catching the homepage itself (the root domain). How do we redirect the homepage of the old domain to the new domain? Anything that we haven’t already set up a redirect for should go to the homepage of the new domain.
