    Nice plugin

    1. It’s not great having a 404 page not found when trying to access a protected page. It would be better if their was an option to set a redirect for when someone tries to access a page they don’t have permission to view. This way they could be redirected to a page with a login form.

    2. When users log in it would be good to be able to redirect them based on group. Say you create a members hub page with links to other members pages. When a members group member logs in it would be good to redirect them to a selected url, in this case the hubpage. This would be a powerful feature to add, perhaps a wordpress page / post dropdown on the group edit screen

    #1 https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/groups-404-redirect/

#2 https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/peters-login-redirect/ – only that it wouldn’t allow you to redirect depending on what group … but it shouldn’t be too hard to get it to do that as well

It would be great if this was built in. Instead of a separate plugin.

Also, URL groups and category redirects.
And, URL groups and category access restrictions (instead of per post).

    That’s my vote.

    Thank you!

    +1 on this feature.

It would be great if there was an option in settings to choose which page it redirects to in case of no access or expired access. Even better would be to have a pull-down option for each instance of groups.

    Example:
Group A – Redirect landing page (select)
Group B – Redirect landing page (select)

I take my comment back. Looks like the 404 redirect plugin is just the answer!

Although, it would be really nice to have it built-in but hey, we aren’t complaining!

    Hello,

I’m wondering what could be needed to adapt peters-login-redirect and make it able to define a redirection linked to a specific group.
Do you think there is a way to do this easily?
I need this because I’m managing 3 different groups and want them to have a specific landing page when they log.
    Many thanks
    Pat
