  • I’d like to know the same. I can access my blog’s control panel via Internet Explorer, but FF started showing that error ever since I tried to install the WordPress 2.6 update (which broke my theme, so I had to roll back).

Update: I got this resolved, just by installing and running the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin. (via IE, of course)

I’m assuming something went wrong when I tried to update manually. (and as such, my blog actually works now with 2.6, whereas before it broke the theme)

    this fixed it for me.

go to tools -> options -> privacy -> show cookies and delete all cookies to your domain.

then log in again and you should get the dashboard no problems.

+1 for deleting cookies. Did it for me.

    -1 for deleting cookies.

Tried it, didn’t work, still getting this message:
    The page isn’t redirecting properly.
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    Help!
    Thanks

I’m just now having this problem too, and only for one WordPress blog:

    https://luxurylatinamerica.com/blog/

Worked fine last week, now can’t log in to the admin panel. Have tried deleting cookies, clearing cache, etc. None of the support forums seem to know how to solve this. Really annoying. I like using WordPress, but something like this seems to me happen every month or two, not to mention all the upgrade work that’s required to keep the architecture current.

We fixed it!!! I offered money to a bunch of my friends and one of them fixed it.
Use an FTP to delete the plug-ins which were just added in the last week.
Somehow a site statistics plug-in was added on Sept 25th, along with a few others, and that is what was locking me out.

It must be a security issue?

I am experiencing the redirect loop.
Main page and admin are fine, i get this error whenever I got to a single post, a category, or the profile…

I have tried deactivating plugins & deleting cookies.

    help is much appreciated!
