• Since last night, I’ve been having trouble logging into my WP dashboard. Each time I try to log in, I’m led to a page that says “This webpage has a redirect loop.” If I clear my cookies/cache as a search online stated, I can log in and my blog looks normal for several minutes. But then, after that, the webpage will appear in plain text and some images within the post won’t appear.

If I’m already logged into my dashboard and try to access the dashboard through the admin bar on top, I would be redirected to “oops. Page not found.” If I’m trying to access through wp-admin, I get the “redirect loop” message.

Usually, the home page looks fine, although sometimes it does appear as plain text, it’s when you click into the post itself that the images don’t appear. The only one that works is the first image of the post.

I thought it could be my browser, but I checked on four browsers and it does the same thing. And we tried on multiple laptops and tablets. The result is the same.

I contacted my host server several time. They believed that the login issue could be due to a brute force attack. And they inserted a code that should have resolved the issue, but it hasn’t worked. And the issue with my page not loading properly and images not there is thought to be based on a cookie value, possibly a security plug in. But I don’t have anything like that other than akismet.

I don’t know anything about coding and my host server isn’t sure how to troubleshoot this issue. I was wondering if it has something to do WordPress.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks!
