Redirect loop on wp-admin with Convert Pro plugin

After installing this plugin, I’m unable to access wp-admin even if I don’t actually activate the plugin. The only solution is to delete the plugin folder. What happens is it causes a redirect loop to the overview page “Convert Pro” (https://www.convertpro.net/) which is also installed. How on earth would this happen? https://i.imgur.com/olW6Eax.png I did clear local and server side caches and cookies of course, so it’s an actual bug.
