Redirect Loop Permalink Problem

Hi all,

I am having a strange problem. /forum and /forums both get me a redirect loop. It doesn’t matter which page I turn the permalink into those, the error is with those permalinks. I am using custom %postname% as the setting. It’s frustrating as I have a forum to put up, and I would like it on /forum if possible.

I tried resetting the permalinks (switching to default and then back to custom), it didn’t work.
