Redirect mobile traffic to amp

  • Hello,

    your plugin is amazing! I activated the setting to use AMP for posts by default but i can’t updated the older posts because are 21000 and the site goes too slow.

    I’ll wait a little bit to update the entire site, but it’s possible with this plugin redirect all the mobile traffic to the Amp content and not only from google search?

    I’m so sorry for the late response! I’ve been receiving hundreds (maybe thousands!) of emails since AMP launched last week.

    We released an update late last week that allows PageFrog to enable AMP for large volumes of posts, so 21000 should be no problem now. Just head under Mobile Formats > Settings, check Posts and hit the Enable AMP button. You should see the green text update in real-time to see the progress.

    As for redirecting all mobile visitors to AMP, it’s something that I had been considering. Although it’s not what Google had original intended for AMP to be, I suppose there’s no reason why we can’t force an AMP redirect from mobile visits.

    Let me add this to my to-do list and I’ll give an update here once the update is ready!
