• I have set a URL in “Redirect Users After Login” to my main page. When users log in they are being redirected to their dashboard. This only started happening after a recent update. Can you please take a look?

    Thanks,

We Provide the 2 option for redirection.

    1. Forcefully Redirect: this is are when you hit your then redirect to any other URL(you want to redirect your site)

    2. Redirect Users After Login (Not Work For Admin): this option is work for the non-admin user, they can redirect to your site admin area,.

Number 2 is not working on my site. I have disabled every other plugin and it continues to not work, when it had been working up until about 2 weeks ago.

Here is the view of how my settings page is set up: https://imgur.com/ox8rMCG

When I log in as a non-admin (I have a test user who is a Subscriber level), it redirects me to the Dashboard, not the URL I give in the photo.

Thanks for any help you’re able to provide.

    Hi Amsts

    It is working.

Redirect option is work for the author, editor, subscriber, contributor.

If you want to redirect user, After login, Any of above-given users

Then set the front of your site URL, Just like: https://localhost/wordpress-5.1/sample-page/

For Backend: https://localhost/wordpress-5.1/wp-admin/profile.php, It is accessible for all users.
Another URL is accessed by the role.

    Save the change

    I think it will.

    Thanks

Still doesn’t work. Here, I made a login for you:

    https://thesportslogbook.com/wp-login.php?itsec-hb-token=slb-login

Here is the view of how my settings page is set up: https://imgur.com/ox8rMCG

As I said before, this worked up until a couple of weeks ago so I’m not sure why it’s failing now. I have tested with all plugins turned off and still get the same result so it’s not a conflict there.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi @amsts

Please don’t share login access here, This break the WordPress frum policy.

Please change your password as soon as possible.

    To Moderator,

We didn’t ask for the login access, but user shared.

    Please look at it this.

In our server redirect option is working. We check many times.

    Add your URL: https://thesportslogbook.com/home/

    Thanks

Oh Gosh, @amsts, you have to now consider a real chance of your site being hacked. You posted your login information for all to see and for search engines and crawling bots to save.

If you are hacked carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

@anevins I am not concerned with that. It was a subscriber level access and I have numerous measures in places on the database as well as monitoring in place, but I appreciate the concern.

@weblizar Once again, I’m telling you that it does not work, I’ve given you a screenshot of my settings and you simply repeat yourself and give unclear instructions. “Add your URL” … Where? As I’ve shown in my screenshot, I have it in the appropriate place.

Furthermore, I HADNT CHANGED ANYTHING IN THE LAST MONTH IN MY SETTINGS AND NOW IT NO LONGER WORKS. I don’t know how to make this more clear that it’s clearly not a configuration problem on my end.

Perhaps we would be better served if you responded in your native language so that the nuance in your reply can be conveyed.
