Redirect not working on PDF 404

I’ve been using PDF redirection for a while, but I’m not sure at which point they stopped working (probably after some update, since I’ve not checked this for a couple of years)
Today I was doing a new PDF redirection and I’ve found any of them (present and past) are working more.
According to redirect.li
404 – No redirect found.
Other simple redirects work well.
The redirect is simple:
From: /wp-content/uploads/2016/08/my.pdf
Exact match
To: https://mydomain/uploads/2021/07/my-new.pdfWhat’s going on?
Note that
.htaccess > “Redirect 301 /old-pdf https://domian.com/new.pdf”
Work flawlessly
