Redirect on bbPress Pages

    I’m using the following plugins: bbPress, Groups, Groups bbPress, and Groups 404 Redirect.

    We’ve set our Groups 404 settings to “Redirect to WordPress login”. This works fine when a visitor tries to access a page protected by Groups, except if that page is a bbPress page. Any suggestions for how to make sure that bbPress pages are also redirected?

    Here is a bbPress page (Topic) that goes to our standard 404 instead of redirecting to WP Login.

  • I’ve checked this using the following:

    – WordPress 5.8-alpha-51039
    – bbPress 2.6.6
    – Groups 2.13.0
    – Groups 404 Redirect 1.7.0
    – Groups bbPress 1.3.0

    Groups 404 Redirect is configured to redirect to the WordPress login.
    A topic is restricted using the “Registered” group. When trying to access the topic as a guest, the guest is redirected to the WordPress login.

    If you still see issues, it might be related to a conflict with another plugin or issues with the setup. Feel free to follow up if it’s still an issue.
