I have set the redirect both by role and by form (because neither worked individually either) and no matter what I do, it automatically redirects the users to their profile (which I have stripped to nothing and don’t want them to see) and hangs with this string in the URL (without actually completing the redirect): ?redirect_to=(page-I-want-it-to-redirect-to)

I’ve disabled/bypassed all caching/optimizations to ensure that’s not playing a role, and disabled all plugins except for Ultimate Member. I’m using the default WordPress theme. The issue still occurs.

In addition to this, users are completely unable to access the page once they’re logged in, as it forces them to their profile page instead (their profile page is set to the default User page that UM generates, and I’ve found that changing that to the page I want them to go to breaks the website).

Hi @nlunsford30

Could you please tell us what version of UM you’re using on your site? How many roles are assigned to the test account that has the redirect issue? IF there’s more than 1 role assigned to the user, you must set one of the roles( that have the redirection settings ) as a Primary role by adding the Priority number in the role settings.

I am on version 2.2.2.

There is only one role assigned, and I’ve tried changing the role to see if that made a difference (it didn’t).

I’ve updated to version 2.2.3 today and the issue persists.

Could you please provide screenshots of your UM Access settings? Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Access > Restriction Content.

To be clear, this does not appear to be an issue with content restriction. It appears to be an issue where, if a logged in user attempts to access the homepage, it redirects them to their profile and I can’t figure out why.

Did you set the redirection in the Registration options in the User role settings? Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit a Role > see “Registration Options” section > see “Action to be taken after registration”
