The plugin has been working great, but I just changed domains and found myself needing to update the feed URL for my podcast. That option exists in the plugin, though it doesn’t seem to be working.

I can enter the new feed URL and save, but if I check the box to redirect to the new URL, the box is unchecked after saving. The feed redirect information does not show up in my feed.

I’m not sure if this is a known bug or if there is some other setting I should be setting, but so far I’m only able to enter the new URL but not save the checkbox value to actually add the redirect information to my podcast.

Any help here? Would love to keep using this plugin but may need to look into other options which would be a pretty major bummer.

Hi There, I am also experiencing the same problem, any advice on how to change this would be great.

I have noticed the seriously-simple-podcasting/templates/feed-podcast.php is inactive, not sure if this makes a difference, I have the latest version.

As above don’t want to change plugin

I have tested this today on numerous sites and it is working on all of them. you are most likely experiencing some kind of conflict with another plugin or your theme, so you will need to sort that out to get it working. SSP is working just fine in this regard.

    Hi Hugh

I have deactivated any plugin that I think could conflicting. It is saying that that the redirect has saved but I am not seeing the change anywhere. Do you have any thoughts. I need the 301 to be completed, is there anyway to do it in the editor?

    Thanks
