Redirect page if customer has had any subscription status

I currently have our subscription limit set to “Limit to one of any status”.
I’m looking for documentation or possible workarounds to redirect customers to My Accounts > Subscriptions page so they can reactivate/resubscribe if they attempt to add a subscription product to cart.
If a customer has a canceled subscription [or any status], and they go to the Subscription product page and attempt to add to cart, they are then redirected to the home page with a notice saying “This product cannot be purchased”.
I’d like to change this so user gets sent to the My Account > Subscriptions tab and a different notice string to be set.
