Redirect pages with .html at the end to blank url

Hi, I can’t seem to find that answer that will help me in the support topics.

I just changed the permalink structure for my site from /%postname%.html

to /%postname%

Didn’t want the .html on the end of all posts.

Can someone please help me figure out what to put in the plugin boxes (from, to) so external links to our site can still find the correct pages?

I was trying from: *.html to /
But that doesn’t seem to be working. Do these plugins support wildcards? *

Or is this something I should be tackling in the .htaccess file?
