    Hi,

We need clients to be able to submit there details on this form https://www.gpsurveyors.co.uk/download-brochure/ and once they click ‘download brochure’ a PDF document (which is uploaded to the media library in wordpress) either pops up in a new tab or it downloads.

I’ve read some other posts but not sure they answer my issue.

    Can anyone help?
    thanks.

    Hi @voltacreative,

You can simply set an external url to redirect to, and put there the url of the pdf document.

I did try that previously but it could be that I didn’t tick ‘External link’.

    Thanks.

The problem with setting an external URL is that it will trigger a pop-blocker in some browsers.

I’ve tried inserting the full URL without the Use External URL option turned on, and with a relative URL, but neither option redirects.

For me, a good (and simple?) solution would be to specify a relative URL for the redirect so the popup blocker isn’t triggered.
