    Hello,
I’ve created custom product page template. Now google indexed my template page:
    https://site.com/?elementor_library=custom-product.
This page is of course empty.
How to prevent from indexing this url and redirect to homepage?

  • Hi,

    Thank you for waiting.

There are several methods that allow you to exclude certain pages/templates from your sitemap. These methods range from adding SEO plugins to modifying some files on your WordPress site. You can find these referenced in this article:

    Hi,
Thank you for reply. I just want to know how to redirect to homepage when someone open single product template url (example url in 1st post).

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply as well.

I think what you are referring to here is a 301 redirect, which is a feature on WP itself.

You can read more about what they are and how to create these here.

However, keep in mind that if you have that URL saved you will not be able to access it, but rather internally through your dashboard. In any case, I would back-up your site just as a precaution so that you could revert to a previous version if needed.

    Regards,

    Gil
