redirect to pages without php extension

  • Hi,

    My old non WP php site used boat.php?boat_id=12 to load a page. Now in WP I am using a custom page called with boat?boat_id=12. How can I make sure the search engines can follow the old indexed links to the new pages? Is this something I can accomplish with .htaccess?
