    Hi,

    You can set up the custom app for Facebook in the plugin so that the blocked URL is altogether avoided. We have contacted Facebook regarding the blocked URL issue. We are awaiting their response.

    Please send us an email at [email protected] for further help with the setup of the custom app.

    Already have the custom app set up actually but thanks for the pointer. Am familiar with the process so was no biggy for me.

    Initially I neglected to add any scopes to the custom app login, and so the MiniOrange app was putting users through the email verification process. I have subsequently added “email” to the Custom Apps scope list and it seems now that, apart from having to re-authenticate in Facebook using the new app, users are pretty much unaffected.

    Just checking this is what I should expect, i.e. no further action on the site to link custom app credentials to existing users?

    Same here, users are being blocked.

    Hello,

    No further action is required for custom app users – but I assume that the issue when authenticating with a native Facebook app on a mobile device is still an issue? I have been discussing this with Yashasvi via email.

    If you go to the Miniorange settings, click the Custom App tab, choose Facebook as the type of app and some instructions will appear on screen on how to set up.
