  • Hi DJCelo,

I’m trying to do something similar.

If you navigate to Settings -> Members there is an option under Private Site for Enable Private Site Redirect all logged-out users to the login page before allowing them to view the site which seems to do what you need.

There is a bug which is why I’m in the support forum, on my local and staging sites it’s working fine but when I enable it on the Production site, it was redirecting the Homepage to the Login page.

    IGNORE THIS!

I commented before I fully tested this. I was a bit unsure of the wording of “Enable Private Site” but what it does is lock the whole site down for logged in users.

This is not what I wanted at all, I only wanted to redirect on pages which required a login as it currently shows a 404.

So I accomplished this now by creating custom redirects for different user roles when logging in and out with Peter’s Login Redirect plugin. Then I just added a login url by the error message to prompt the user to login to gain access to the page. The user then clicks the link, logs in, and then is redirected to the page they were trying to access before.
