Redirect wordpress site to new domain question!

  • Hello.
    I’ve been looking around for a couple of hours for this issue. Im not an expert but looking around I found that 301 redirect is the best redirect for helping search engines not loosing my website content.

    I have a wordpress site installed on my olddomain.com that uses costum post types [olddomain.com/movies/simple-post]
    I want to redirect my old domain to another one and all wordpress posts and pages just like this:
    https://www.olddomain.com/movies/simple-post to https://www.newdomain.com/simple-post
