    Hello,

I have a problem when i want to connect Analytics with Google Site Kit. When i click on connect, i have the following message : “‘redirect_uri’ mismatch”

Site kit is already connected with Adsense, Search Console and PageSpeedInsight.

I already have an analytics account.

    Thank you for help.

    Hi @flo034,

Thanks for reaching out. If you’re encountering a redirect_uri mismatch error this may be related to changes made to your site since setting up Site Kit previously, with your site records previously sent to the Site Kit service possibly not matching your current site.

So we can determine more on this, and ensure you are able to complete set up, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Did you may any changes to your site since initially setting up Site Kit? This may include a site migration, a different wp-admin path, or moving your WordPress files into it’s own directory.
    3. What is the full URL address from your browsers address bar, on the screen where you see this error? I ask as it may contain a callback URL.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.`

Many thanks for sharing these additional insights. I’ve checked your details and I don’t see anything unusual. So we can troubleshoot this further can you perform a plugin reset before attempting Site Kit set up once more (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)? This will reset any previous site records on the Site Kit service, hopefully then allowing you to proceed. Note that by doing so you will need to reconnect all previously connected services.

If you encounter the same error please share whether you had the Analytics module set up successfully previously. I can then check your case with the team.

Excellent! Glad to hear it. If you run into any further errors or unusual behavior be sure to reach out. If you’ve been a Site Kit user for some time be sure to also share your plugin feedback.
