Thanks for reaching out?@startechmarketing. This error may have occurred because the records that Site Kit registered on your site don’t match your current setup. To determine more on this, and ensure your can proceed with the additional permissions, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Have you recently performed a site migration, changed your wp-admin path, your site URL or your WordPress files directory since initially setting up Site Kit? If so let me know what changes you may have made.

Once we have the above, we can advise on what troubleshooting steps to perform in order to complete granting permissions.

What you may also wish to do in order for Site Kit to generate your updated site credentials, is reset the plugin. Note that by resetting, you and any other previously connected administrators, will need to set up the plugin once more. You’ll also need to connect any previously connected modules.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

ok I see probably from staging the migration to live site, but I do this all the time, thats the other issue I brought up, the google plugins for example ads/shopping also don’t have a way to allow migration from staging to live then you lose everything what can i do to fix this issue ?

@startechmarketing When migrating your site from staging to live, it’s best practice to first reset the Site Kit plugin before you migrate. Once you migrate to the live site you can set up Site Kit once more.

Have you tried to perform the reset in this instance? And do you still run into the same issue after doing so? If you do, please could I ask you to share your Site Health information as it doesn’t look like you have done this yet. You can use this form to share privately if preferred. I can then check the setup to see if anything else could be causing this.

We can also perform a check on the Site Kit service side if you continue to face issues here and perform a reset on your records which should allow you to complete setup.

Ok thanks yes I did a reset it works great thank you. Now if your google listings and ads make an easy way from live to staging or staging to live, you have great support thank you very much. there is CTX feed plugin that works for google ads/shopping and has import export function for migration from staging to live.. maybe I switch to that.

@startechmarketing Glad to hear that the reset did the trick for you. Regarding your comments for the Google listings & Ads plugin, this plugin is not managed by us and created by the WooCommerce team. If you have any issues with this plugin then I’d suggest asking those to the support team for that plugin.

Delighted to hear you have been happy with the support and it’s been a pleasure to help you with Site Kit. Good luck with the Google listings & Ads plugin also. If you have any issues or questions with Site Kit in future please feel free to open a new support topic.

    All the best!
