This plugin is exactly what you are searching if I understand your query correctly.

You can also make a CSV file to import more than 3 links simultaneously.

You can define rewrite rules or redirect directives in .htaccess (assuming Apache, nginx has similar capabilities in server blocks) that matches old language terms and rewrites to Polylang compatible terms. Specify status 301 as part of the rewrite and Google will update accordingly. It can take Google quite a while, but it will eventually reflect the new URLs.

This more efficient than plugins because it all occurs before WP is even invoked.

I agee on bcworkz, but.. you need some basic knowledge of proper 301 redirects via htaccess. Applying this the wrong way can do more damage than good.

I know that it can be done via .htaccess, but I would like to try plugin, hence question for recommendation. Thanks ruurddewind for your suggestion.
