Redirecting sub-directory to archive.php

Hi.

I have my blog installed at the root of my domain, with the index.php working as my front page. My permalink structure for posts/tags/cats is /blog/.. though, and when a user goes to domain.com/blog/ I would like to show a custom template page there, for instance archive.php. How can I achieve this?
