Redirecting the home page

I am using a wordpress blog to promote a site. Ultimately I would like the blog to be at https://example.com/blog and for right now have https://example.com redirect to https://example.com/blog. What’s the best way to do this?

Right now I have the wordpress blog’s URL at https://example.com. I’m guessing that should be https://example.com/blog and then redirect https://example.com using the .htaccess file?
