    Hello,

After WordPress update to 5.9.1 version, when I add ?amp in URL it is showing the message “Please wait while your request is being verified…” and redirecting to 404 page.

I already did a test by disabling all plugins (except AMP for WP) and using TwentyTwentyTwo theme.

    Can someone help me?

I realized the message “Please wait while your request is being verified…” is from CloudFlare, so I disabled CloudFlare but the AMP redirect continues.

Can you please share some reference screenshots of the issue along with the URL of the site once? So that we will inspect the issue and get back to you accordingly.

I can’t share my client’s website URL, but all ?amp pages redirect to /z0f76a1d14fd21a8fb5fd0d03e0fdc3d3cedae52f?wsidchk=123456

This pages does not exist, so is redirectingo to Error 404 page.

No redirects have been configured on the site and when the AMP for WP plugin is disabled, the redirect does not happen.

We tested it by re-creating the issue on our end and we are not getting the same. Can you please share at least some screenshots of the issue to inspect the issue? So that we will analyze the issue and get back to you ASAP!

@ahmedkaludi The screenshot of the 404 page won’t help you, it’s only a page that says “404 – Page not found”.

Anyway, I identified that the problem is with the server firewall, despite the error happening only with the AMP for WP plugin. With another AMP plugin the redirect does not happen.

    Thank you.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. Can you please give it try by changing the endpoint to /amp and let me know if it works or not?

    Both /?amp and /amp redirect to /z0f76a1d14fd21a8fb5fd0d03e0fdc3d3cedae52f?wsidchk=123456

We are sorry to say that without URL it’s extremely tough to us to inspect the issue.

Thank you @ahmedkaludi, I identified that the issue is with the server firewall.
