redirecting to new blog

  • I have moved a blog from www.ads-software.com to WordPress.com. At the moment the.org blog is still up also. I would like to set up a redirect so that people who try the old.org address will see the new.com blog. I would be setting up a redirect on the www.ads-software.com side of things, correct? Or would I have to go through WordPress.com?

  • I don’t know how the www.ads-software.com or wordpress.com services function, or what they allow / disallow you to do with your blog. However, I do know, that if you can install plugins, you should check out the plugin “Redirection” via the WordPress Plugin Repository.

    wordpress.com can’t support the plugin though. And since you have moved to wordpress.com, you should create a thread in WordPress.com forum and not here.
