Redirection and Permalinks Moved Permanently Plugins don’t do their job

  • I have installed the plugin.
    My old permalinks style was:

    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%

    I changed it to just

    /%postname%

    and I still get 404 errors. Please help me fix this? The majority of my hits do not go through the home page so this is important. Thanks.
