    im trying to figure out a problem to see if its being caused by litespeed, cloudflare, or bbq firewall.

    the issue that i have is a redirection loop, and only happens when facebook utm tags are being used and doesnt always happen, such as;

    YESTERDAY /?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=TOF23&utm_campaign=SS_CB%20%E2%80%93%20Copy%202&utm_content=10%20discount%20%E2%80%93%20Copy%202&fbclid=IwAR00qnZFvoE0bP1uDFhI7hARqBYP2DIlM-gsWjR5E5iMIqxGg6RNaeof_Zw

    TODAY /?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=TOF23&utm_campaign=SS_CB+%E2%80%93+Copy+2&utm_content=10+discount+%E2%80%93+Copy+2

    if i remove the fbclid it still hapens, any idea?

    Not sure what might be happening. I test those strings with BBQ on default WP install and there is no issue. The strings are not blocked or handled in any way by BBQ. So I would guess the issue is with some other plugin or server app. Also should mention that cache plugins may be involved based on the error description, so something else to look at as well.

    I hope this helps. Let me know if I can provide any further infos.

    i disabled the bbq firewall for now, not sure what to do and how to find the source because it doesnt happen all the time, its random.

    Understood. I’ll take a closer look at the BBQ firewall patterns and see if there is anything that might be catching on those request strings.

    i think its something to do with litespeed .. i think your plugin would have dropped the connection and not created a redirection

    Correct, at the point where a request gets to WordPress, any server-level redirections are complete.

    can you think of any method to figure out whats causing the redirection?

    i’ve checked things like raw cpanel logs and it doesnt explain much ..

    I’m not sure with Litespeed or whatever you’re using, but with Apache you can enable detailed rewrite logs that show everything the server is doing when redirecting requests.
