    Hi there,

I just needed to set up a redirect and noticed that the plugin settings have disappeared although it has been activated and I was using it without any problems previously. I also can’t see it under the Tools menu. I’m not sure which update it would be related to as I haven’t used it in a while and didn’t notice the problem until now. I’ve tried reinstalling it and have also deactivated other installed plugins to no avail.

I’d be grateful for your advice, thanks.

    Best regards,
    Sarah

  • This has happened to me as well. I’m on WordPress version 4.9.9 with a site network and I’m seeing this across different themes and subsites.

What version of PHP are you using?

    Hi John, It’s 5.3.3. Thanks.

Ok. Redirection requires a minimum of PHP 5.4:

Ah right, thanks. It was working before though with 5.3.3. Is that because of a recent update? It’s been on my list to upgrade to PHP 7 anyway so I will get onto that!

Cancel that! I’ve just checked out the link that you posted and have reinstalled the old version of Redirection now so all good until I get PHP 7. Thanks so much for your help John!

Thanks for the response, John. That sounds like the solution. (I’m hesitant to upgrade my version of PHP just because I have so many other old plugins and themes on my network — I’m worried about breaking some of the older stuff. But that’s a predicament entirely of my own making, so I’ll figure it out.)
