Redirection not keeping old url in redirect

  • In the “Source URL” I input former site url for a page. For example https://www.blahblahblah.com/blahblah

    In the ‘Target URL’ I place the new site url for a page. For example https://mynewsite.cam/mynewpage

    When I save redirect the Source url changes to /blahblah. So no redirect from old url to new url is recorded.

    I tried ‘When Matched’ ‘pass through’ but still ended up with no old url in redirect list other than the /blahblah.
    I tried ‘match only’ url, and ‘match url and referrer’ and couldn’t get old url to appear in redirect list.

    What am I doing wrong?

    By default, There is no need to register your domain name.
    could you please try to redirect any 404 page to any new page and let us know..
