redirection not working

    Hi!

    I need to create a series of resirtctions based on post categories but cannot get any to work.

    For example a category called life navigation – I have it open to admin and a role called life navigation.

    Content is protected by redirect.

    I have protected categories: selected “life navigation” OR post with a category “life navigation” but it does not work.

    Posts will have multiple categories, is this the issue?

    We also rechecked your site, and we did not see any browser errors that can affect the restrictions.

    For example – each restricted category of post is assigned admin and user can see. tree of life restriction.png

    But that doesn’t seem to work at all, even for a restricted category archive. Is it because posts have multiple categories, including ones which are not restricted?

    Thank you for the video and a screenshot of your content setting.

    It looks like a targeting condition is missing on your content setting.

    The life-navigation is blog post under the category. What you restrict is the category archive page.

    Can you add the Is A Post with Category: (name of the category) to restrict showing the post with that category?

    Thanks – but the archive restriction doesn’t work either, which is part of the problem.

    I have one I am working on as an example. The category is career transition. I am restricting post with category OR categories selected.

    When I test with a user who is not designated career transition, I can still access career transition articles and the post archive for career transition.

    Is there anything I am missing?

    We would like to take a closer look to understand why the restriction is not working. Can you use the Temporary Login Without Password plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/) to give us admin access?
