Redirection not working on IIS 10

    I moved a working WordPress 5.5.1 site from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019.
    Now the redirect plugin doesn’t work.
    This is using IIS 10.
    I have looked and the URL Redirection 2.1 extension has been installed on this server.

    Visting the test link should redirect to www.ads-software.com. Clicking it now gives a 404 error.

    Your server is not configured properly. If you go to https://mccoytree.com/testme you will notice that the 404 page is displayed by Windows Server, not WordPress. It needs to be displayed by WordPress.

    I do not know what additional configuration you need, but it is likely it is documented on this site somewhere.
