    Reproduction

    1. WordPress > Dashboard > Tools > Redirection > Tab “Log”
    2. Select one log entry with the checkbox next to it.
    3. Next to the pagination it now says: X of N selected. Select all.
    4. Click “Select all”.
    5. It now says: N of N selected. Clear all.
    6. Click “Clear all”.
    • Actual: It says “N items”. No deletion occurred.
    • Expected: The log gets cleared entirely.
    • Note: The same buggy behavior also occurs in tab “404s”.

Clear all will clear the selection. It will not delete the items themselves.

    Understood.

With all selected I clicked the dropdown menu “Bulk Update”, selected “Delete” and then clicked the button “Apply” next to it, and then all entries in the respective log were gone.

Usability feedback: Change the label to “Clear selection” or “De-select”. “Clear all” in combination with a selection can potentially mislead to be interpreted as “Delete all” (as was the case with me).
