• Have moved my blog from a subdomain via “giving wordpress its own directory” method and it works well. I have redirected the html pages using the redirection plugin, however I need to now redirect all the blog posts that were under /blog/ to the new url which omits the /blog/

    I have tried this :

    /blog/(.*)
    to /$1

    But it didn’t work.

One thing I need to ask is will this affect the admin login as this is currently via /blog/wp-login.php or will the admin be the same but without the /blog as well

Will this also change the tags etc?

Also I note that in the Redirection log there is a /comments/feed being listed but when I check there is no such page… should I redirect this the the /feed page

I apologise for all the questions?

    Trust this all makes sense

Can anyone assist me at all?

I have tried everything I can think of…surely there must be a way?
