Redirection Plugin iThemes Security Plugin

  • I just wanted to setup a custom URL redirection with this Redirection plugin on an iThemes Security equipped site and found that the redirection had failed.
    There must be some htaccess incompatibility between these plugins.
    I turned off the htaccess protection feature of the iThemes Security before setting up the redirection rule, this changed nothing.
    Any other seamless way to setup redirections in cooperation with iThemes Security?

    I am having the same issues with redirection plugin and using iThemes, any assistance would be much appreciated.

    WP Version: 4.1
    iThemes Security: 4.6.6
