Redirection resets language.
-
Hi,
First of all, thank you again for this great plugin.
I am using WP User Frontend Pro plugin together with a multilingual plugin for English and Chinese.
Here’s how I use WPUF Pro + ML plugins.
– I made two WPUF forms, where English form is written in English for English users and Chinese form is written in Chinese for Chinese users.
– I have two languages for English and Chinese, where English is the default language.
– If English is the user’s selected language, English form is provisioned to the user.
– If Chinese is the user’s selected language, Chinese form is provisioned to the user.Yes, pretty simple. However, it gets complex after the post is submitted or updated.
WPUF provides ‘Redirect To’ options (Newly created post, Same page, To a page, To a URL), indicating to which page the user shall be redirected after the post is submitted or updated. The problem is that the language is reset to default language after redirection is made to the ‘Newly created post’. I used two multilingual plugins (qTranslate and Bogo), but this problem persists with any of these multilingual plugins.
That is, if a Chinese user submits a post in Chinese language environment using the Chinese form, the user’s language environment is reset to English.
How do I prevent WPUF from resetting language information after a post is submitted or updated?
Thank you.
