Redirects get ignored until i clear cache?!

    Hi there!

    seems i have to clear the cache of “wp fastest cache” plugin to make the redirects work properly. could it be? is that a known issue? quote of a customer:

    Yesterday after deleting cache in wordpress, everything operated well again. Today the same problem appeared and again, deleting cache restored proper redirections.

    I cannot speak for that particular plugin, but if it is causing caching issues then you may need to configure it differently.

    Redirection works in WordPress via PHP, while WP Fastest Cache uses .htaccess directives, and those take precedence.

    If you’ve redirected a page that was previously cached, you’ll need to clear the cache for that page, leaving only the Redirection record in effect. If you’ve created a more complex redirect, you may need to clear the entire cache, but this shouldn’t happen too often.
