I’ve looked through the other posts and cannot find an issue to this question. I have no security plugin installed to temporarily disable in an effort to fix this.

    1. I installed this plugin & did some customization in Chrome. It was looking all right until the preview stopped loading, so I saved/published and tried to login in Fire Fox to test it.

    2. FF gave me the “Not Acceptable!” error mentioned in this issue, the answer to which does NOT resolve anything in my opinion.

    3. In Edge, I get a warning that the login page of my website is a possible phishing scam. It’s not, and that looks sketchy af. I’m not keeping a plugin that does this.

    4. I uninstalled the plugin, but the issue persists. It continuously redirects to https://[URL]/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2F%5BURL%5D%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 (I removed my domain and put “[URL]”)

Did the plugin change my login.php file? Or something else? How do I undo this? I’ve already disabled the plugin and removed the files, so I don’t understand why there’s still an issue.

This was not a problem before installing this plugin.

This is not a case of needing to clear my cache. I did. In every single browser I have. I even tried from another computer that hasn’t logged in, and got the same issue.

    Incredibly. Frustrated.

Never mind. It seems that it took a little while to access my website again after the issue mentioned in step #2, and Fire Fox now works. I got hung up on an error from Edge saying the site might be a phishing error and that turned out to be a frustrating misdirection. In fact it looks like Edge is just being stupid.

That said, after the issues seen while installing this plugin (predominently covered in this issue), I won’t be using installing it again. I hope you can fix this for your users because at this point, it makes the plugin unusable for new users like me.
