    Hello,

We have the Premium plugin. We just finished configuring the AD side.

When unauthenticated authors go to /wp-admin*, we want to redirect them to ADFS, then back to their requested authoring page so they can write.

We’re on a hosting provider and can’t customize core files.

    Works:
    1. “Option 1” Redirect from /wp-admin to ADFS
    2. User can authenticate

    Doesn’t work:
After authentication, it doesn’t redirect back to /wp-admin (NOT the front page). The whole point of logging in is for authors, not public viewers. But if we change the Destination URL/Default Relay State URL on AD to go to /wp-admin* after, it causes a redirect loop… Is this possibly due to miniOrange’s redirect design? It doesn’t seem to remember the first redirect. Is there a way around this?

I’ve noticed that on the Identity Provider tab, the Default Relay State (Optional) does not reflect the same setting either. Not sure if that’s related.

    Thanks.

Correction: * After authentication, it doesn’t redirect back to /wp-admin (it hits the front page… NOT what we want).

    Hi Courtney,

Please configure the plugin as given below:
1.Under SSO Login Settings tab, enable Use Default WordPress Login.
2.Do not enter any URL in Relay State under SSO Login Settings tab.
3.Remove the Default Relay State in the AD.

This should redirect the user to /wp-admin after the user has logged in.If the problem persists please mail us at [email protected]

That’s what I tried, but it’s not working. I’ll email.
