As others before I’m not able to run this plugin on my WordPress website.

I’m using Aruba Linux host and Cloudflare and this is the diagnostic I receive:

    Status: Not enabled
    Client:
    Drop-in: Not installed
    Disabled: No
    PhpRedis: 5.3.7
    Relay: Not loaded
    Predis: 2.1.2
    Credis: Not loaded
    PHP Version: 8.1.14
    Plugin Version: 2.4.4
    Redis Version: Unknown
    Multisite: No
    Metrics: Disabled
    Metrics recorded: 0
    Filesystem: Working
    WP_REDIS_PLUGIN_PATH: "/web/htdocs/www.realab.it/home/wp-content/plugins/redis-cache"
    Drop-ins: [
        "advanced-cache.php v by "
    ]

In www.realab.it/home/wp-content/plugins/redis-cache path I find redis-cache.php but no advanced-cache.php file.

    Thank you in advance,

    Luca

advanced-cache.php is not related to this plugin.

Did you follow the installation instructions?

    I didn’t sorry.

Now I’ve modified the wp-config.php file as in the instructions, but the result is the same except now in the overview I see:

Are you able to connect via redis-cli?

Hi Till, consider my skills aren’t that special. I’ve downloaded wp-cli.phar file on my Mac but don’t know where and how to install it.

If you didn’t bother to read the plugin’s installation instructions, I’d suggest doing so.

I did it. What makes me confused is about the installation of Redis. I know it’s correctly installed and activated in my Aruba host. I need to install it also in my Macbook?

If you want to use Redis Object Cache on your Macbook, then yes.

As mentioned at the beginning of this tread, I need to have the plugin working on my website that’s hosted by Aruba (not my Mac). Sorry if I’m booring you and all experienced programmers…

Consider asking your hosting provider for assistance with setting up Redis Object Cache and Redis Server. They know their systems best.
