Reduce article text drawn from FB

Hi I would like to reduce the amount of text in articles drawn from facebook.on the facebook feed. By this I mean that I have shared articles on my FB page and written a comment about them. When I use your plugin I can reduce the text of my written comment but I cannot reduce the amount of text drawn from the original article. Can you help?
